Kathryn Willis is a Waco native and a Baylor University student majoring in Special Education. She is also a Baylor Chamber of Commerce member and Lead Trainer at the Bill and Eva Williams Bear Habitat

The book follows Judge Indy and Judge Belle through a day of swimming, climbing, exploring, training, and resting together while introducing children to friendship and American black bear facts.

Indy and Belle are real American black bears who live at the Bill and Eva Williams Bear Habitat at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

The book is written for children, families, teachers, librarians, Baylor alumni, and young readers who enjoy animals, friendship, nature, and learning
